READ 1 SAMUEL 17 

Have you ever wondered what your purpose was? You’re not alone. It is a question that everyone asks & wants to know about themselves. There are studies, books, conversations & quotes from people of all walks of life & every religion about the purpose of life. We want a reason & a purpose to exist. We want our life to matter. We want to know what our mission in life is. Some may say that David’s purpose was to kill the giant or his purpose was to be king but that isn’t exactly so. David’s mission in life was to lead the people to God & being king was just one of the ways God planned for David to show others God’s great love, power & protection. Wherever we are in life, whatever our job or business may be, there is nothing that we can do that will ever be greater than the purpose & mission that Jesus has outlined for us in Mathew 28:18-20. Our mission is The Great Commission & it is the greatest purpose we will ever have. God has given us everything we need to succeed, we have godly, spiritual armor & weapons of warfare to protect & defend us as we fight this good fight. We need every piece of God’s armor daily. You can’t put on one piece of armor & neglect the others. A soldier wouldn’t charge into battle without his breastplate or his sword. This is why God’s word tells us to put on the whole armor of God so we can be FULLY COVERED.
