PHASE 3: TAKE A STAND - BEING GREAT IS BEING DIFFERENT
God, through Paul who was a prisoner in chains while writing to the church in Ephesus, tells us three times in Ephesians 6:11-14 to stand. The original Greek word for stand is histemi which means to be able to withstand the force of anything, immovable, unharmed, prepared with a steadfast mind, having a quality that does not hesitate or waiver. When we put on the whole armor of God daily, we stand ready & prepared & we don't have to think twice about doing what's right in the eyes of the Lord.

Amazing. Extraordinary. Incredible. Uncommon. Unimaginable. Our God is all that & more & so are his creations & this includes you! When we think of people who changed the course of history, we may think of people such as Joan of Arc, Abraham Lincoln, Mother Theresa, or Martin Luther King Jr. We recognize these people because of the choices & sacrifices they made that changed & touched the lives of so many. If you’re reading this right now, God has put you in a position to change the course of history. You have been given one of the most amazing opportunities to increase the Kingdom of Heaven & change the lives of more people than you could ever imagine. You have been entrusted to teach, train & lead young Christian warriors! Because of your willingness & obedience, these young people will have the strength & wisdom they need to go out into the world, take their stand for Christ & win the lost. You pose a great threat to the enemy & just like every other history maker since the beginning of time you will have one thing in common with these uncommon people. Adversity. Just remember, the greater the battle is, the greater the victory will be. Don’t get discouraged when you feel surrounded by problems & hardships. Don’t allow anyone or anything to stop you from doing what you were called to do. TAKE A STAND! Stand with the full armor of God, divinely equipped & fully prepared. Ephesians 6:12.
